Harry and Tish Update -- Spring 2010

Harry's job situation took a dramatic
turn for the better in November
2009 when he was offered a job as
a communications specialist at
UNICEF in mid-town Manhattan.
UNICEF is the world's oldest and most prestigious organization
advocating for the rights and welfare for children. Founded in 1946 and
now a part of the United Nations, UNICEF provides vaccinations,
education, nutrition and other health and wellness services for children
and their parents around the world, particularly in areas impacted by
natural disasters, conflicts and other adverse circumstances.

At UNICEF, Harry is a member of the IPSAS Project Team. This Team,
part of the internal finance department, is creating a road map for the
organization to implement new accounting standards called IPSAS --
international public-sector accounting standards. Many
non-governmental organizations in Europe and the US are adopting
IPSAS, which provide internal and external auditors a cleaner view of an
organizations' finances, assets and results. Harry's job is to create new
web pages, newsletters, e-mails and other marketing materials on the
progress of IPSAS implementation distributed or read by UNICEF staff.

Tish begins her third year as a senior recruiter manager with SunGard
Financial Systems in Jersey City, NJ. She handles all staffing and
recruiting for SunGard's trading, insurance, capital markets, investment
banking, and brokerage & clearing operations.
SunGard is a global
leader in software and processing solutions for financial services,
higher education and the public sector. SunGard's headquarters are in
Wayne, PA, near Valley Forge and not far from Philadelphia.

Kate is in the home stretch of her college career at Ohio State
University. On June 13 she will graduate. The NJ Fergusons are
planning a special weekend in Columbus, OH to celebrate and all
family members are welcome to attend. Contact Harry for details. Like
her father, Kate will pursue a career in marketing or corporate
communications in New York City later this year.

Also in June
Scott will hopefully complete his sophomore year at Point
Pleasant Boro High School. Scott is very active in the school's
performing arts -- he's a member of the competition band (trumpet) and
also is part of the school's show choir. Once again he will have a role in
the spring play, which this year will be Sweeney Todd.
