    Dear Family,

    I have reserved 12 rooms at the Radisson Hotel (Phone # 815-226-2100) and 10 rooms at the HIlton
    Garden (Phone # 815-229-3322) in Rockford, IL for Aug. 1 & 2 (the hotels are next to each other).  The
    Radisson has a blend of queen and king rooms whereas the Hilton Garden has only single king bed
    rooms available.  The rooms are being held at a discount rate starting at $129. I would have reserved
    more at the Radisson but, that is all they had available (there is some big soccer tournament in the city
    that weekend - go figure!)

    When you call these hotels you MUST say that you are reserving rooms under the Lange/Trueblood
    Wedding Party.  The rooms will be held until June 1, 2008 but, reserve early to assure getting the room(s)
    you want.  David and I are staying at the Radisson.

    We will be going to Chicago Aug. 3, 4 and 5.  We are staying at the Omni (Phone # 312-266-3094) in
    downtown Chicago (where the guys stayed for their weekend last summer).  These are all suites starting
    at $299.00 per night. The Allerton Hotel is a more affordable alternative to the Omni.  Steve will forward
    details.  IF YOU ARE GOING TO CHICAGO YOU NEED TO MAKE RESERVATIONS IMMEDIATELY AS
    HOTEL ROOMS ARE VERY SCARCE IN CHICAGO IN THE SUMMER!!!!  The guys are going to try to get
    tickets for the Monday night, August 4, game at Wrigley field.  Let us know ASAP if you want tickets.  Not
    sure what the price will be.
