    Family travel updates

Dan and Renee recently visited Arizona and Nevada. Many if
not all of the LA Fergusons are planning to visit Seattle in
early September for the LSU-UW football game on Sept. 5.

In July Dave and Debbie visited Seattle-
Tacoma area to attend wedding of Janelle
Lytle (daughter of Laurie Epps) and to visit
with Eunice and Glen. In the photo from this
trip Dave and Debbie are with Mom, Glen,
Peg, Aunt Carrie and Uncle "Stretch."

If you are planning a trip send to me using the Submit
feedback link and I'll post it here.

    New Jersey politics heats up!

In August the NJ Fergusons jumped into
state politics, starting with a forum featuring
Chris Christie, the Republican nominee for
Governor. Only two states will have governor
elections in November, Virginia and New Jersey, and all
sides agree both will have national implications.
Approximately 30 citizens attended the forum, which was
hosted by Point Pleasant Boro Council President Sue
Rogers and held at the Forte restaurant on
    Bridge Avenue. Attendees included leaders
of Point Pleasant's  business and civic
    community. Among the topics discussed
were health care, property taxes, the state budget and
political corruption. Harry and Tish each managed to have
their photo taken with Mr. Christie; with Tish is a neighbor,
    Donna Bobertz.

The NJ Fergusons are also involved in the town's
municipal elections, providing support to two
highly qualified candidates for city council. Here is
an ad that was placed in the local newspaper
reflecting this support; click on it to enlarge.
